Mystical 4 Days 3 Nights Flores Overland Trip (start from Ende)

Day 1. Air Port – Hotel

Pick up from the Air port and drive around one and half hours to the Hotel in Moni. Check in Hotel, rest and stay overnight.

Day 2. Hotel – Kelimutu – Hotel – Wologai Village – Blue Stone Beach – Bajawa

Wake up early morning at 04.00 AM and leaving for Kelimitu National Park. Driving for forty-five minutes to reach at the parking area. From parking area we walk for 20 minutes to reach to the peak of kelimutu. From there we will see the sun rise and the crater of the three colors lake. Take pictures as much as you want. After that walk down and back to the parking area to get the car and drive back to the Hotel for having breakfast. Next stop is Wologai traditional Village. It takes 20 minutes to reach to the village. On arrival you will be welcomed by the local guide then escort you to explore the village, walk around the settlements. After that, back to the car and continue drive to Blue Stone Beach in two hours, the place where we can have lunch today. After lunch we will continue drive to Bajawa for another two hours. Check in Hotel in Bajawa and stay overnight.

Day 3. Bena Village – Soa Hot Spring - Aimere – Borong – Rana Mese Lake – Ruteng.

After breakfast, we visit Bena Village to see the architecture of megalithic. Bena Village is located in Tiwu Riwu Distric and just at the base of Inerie mountain. On arrival, we will be welcomed by local guide and then walk around the village. After words then return to the car and leaving for Hot springs for around one hour drive. Enjoy your moment in the river and fill the sensation of natural warm water. After that, back to the car and continue drive to Aimere to experience the Arak processing. On arrival, we will be introduced about how to make arak from the initial process to becoming an alcoholic drink.

From Aimere then we continue to Borong in one hour driving. Stop in some restaurant in Borong and having lunch. After lunch we then continue driving for another one hour to Rana Mese Lake. Stop in Rana Mese and walk around the lake, take pictures as much as you want. Return to the car and leaving for Ruteng for check in hotel and overnight stay.

Day 4. Ruteng Pu’u Village – Liang Bua – Cara – Labuan Bajo

After breakfast on our last day, the first place that we are going to visit is Ruteng Pu’u. Ruteng Pu’u is the traditional village located in the central of Ruteng town. We drive to this village for around twenty minutes. on arrival, we will be welcomed by the locals that takes us to the main house where the Head of the village will welcome us in a small traditional ceremony. After that we can walk around to meet and interaction with the people and make pictures. Return to the car and leaving for the next destination.

From Ruteng Pu’u we continue to Liang Bua Cave, the place where we will see the fossil of Flores Hobit. We drive for one hour through the villages and the rice padi, keep your iyes open and look around to see the beautiful landscape of rice terrace. On arrival we will be welcomed by the local guide. Before explore the cave, we will get some short briefing from the local guide and then they will take us on a walk in to the cave. After explore the cave, they will also accompany us to the Museum to see the fossil of flores hobbit. Back to the car and continue to Cara in one hour drive to see the Spiderweb Rice Field. On arrival we will be welcomed by the locals. We then trekking for five minutes to reach to the spot where we can see the panorama of spiderweb rice field. Spiderweb rice field is a traditional pattern of dividing rice fields in a circular shape, like spider’s web, typical of Manggarai, Flores. In local language it is called Lingko.

After wards we then return to the car and continue to Labuan Bajo in three hours drive. Check in Hotel and overnight stay.
