3 Days and 2 Nights Wae Rebo Trip

Day 1. Labuan Bajo – Lembor – Dintor Village – Wae Rebo

Pick you up at 07:00 AM at your loby hotel and drive to Lembor for one and half hour to visit local traditional market. Afterwards we continue to Dintor in two hours drive. On arrival, we then find some local restaurant and having lunch. From Dintor we continue drive for twenty minutes to Denge village to get to the station where we stop and parking the car. From here we take the local transportation called ojek to drive us to the basse or star point. Now the real adventure just begin. We trekking for around three hours throughout the tropical rainforest. Fill the sensation and let your heart and mind be at one with the rhythm of nature. Listen to the birds voice and the other animals along the way. After three hours trekking, we then reach at the last pos. from there we can see the panorama of Wae Rebo village. Walk down through coffee plantation onto the village. On arrival, we will entering the main house where the head of the village will welcomed us in traditional local ceremony. We then escort to the other house as our home stay, coffee and dinner will be served.

Day 2. Wae Rebo – Denge – Cara – Ruteng

Still in wae rebo – wake up early morning to see the sun rise and its warm. Take pictures as much as you want and Make interact with the locals to see their life. After that, ready for breakfast. After breakfast, we then prepare for trekking back to Denge village in two hours. On arrival wi will meet the local transportation again and then take us to the station to get the car. Continue to Cara for around two and half hours drive. Upon arrival, we will trekking for five minutes to rich to the spot where we can see the panorama of spiderweb rice field. Spiderweb rice field is a traditional pattern of dividing rice field in circular shape, Like spider’s web, typical of Manggarai. In local language we called Lingko.

After take pictures, we trekking back to the car and proceed to the restaurant for having lunch. After lunch we continue to Ruteng and check in Hotel. Dinner in Hotel and rest.

Day 3. Ruteng Pu’u – Liang Bua – Labuan Bajo.

After breakfast, we proceed to Ruteng Pu’u in twenty minutes drive. Upon arrival we are invited to wear the local woven cloth before heading to the traditional house. In traditional house, we will be welcomed by the head of the village. After a traditional local ceremony, we will invited to explore the village to see the people and architecture. Take pictures as much as you can then say good bye. Return to the car and continue to Liang Bua Hobbit Cave. Drive for one hours to Liang Bua. Upon arrival we will welcomed by local people and then we will invited to wear the local traditional cloth before escort us to the cave. After that, we explore the cave with the local guide to see the remains of a fossil excavation. After that we heading to the museum of fossil of hobbit Flores. Finish from museum, then we return to the car and proceed to the restaurant for having lunch. After lunch, then we continue to Labuan Bajon in three hours drive. Check in Hotel and rest.
