2 DAYS 1 NIGHT WAE REBO TRIP

DAY 1: LABUAN BAJO – LEMBOR – DINTOR VILLAGE – WAE REBO

Pick-up from your hotel or airport at 08:00 AM and drive for about one hour to Lembor. We will take a short break at a local restaurant before continuing the 1.5-hour drive to Dintor Village, where we will stop for lunch.

After lunch, we proceed to Denge Village, where our car will be parked. From here, we will take a local motorbike taxi (ojek) to the starting point of our trek. This is where our real adventure begins! We will hike through the lush tropical rainforest for approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. Along the way, immerse yourself in nature, listen to the sounds of birds, and take short breaks to rest and hydrate.

About 2 km before reaching Wae Rebo Village, we will arrive at a scenic viewpoint from where we can see the traditional conical houses of the village. As we continue walking, we will pass through plantations of coffee, cacao, cloves, taro, and other local crops.

Upon arrival at Wae Rebo, we will be welcomed into the main house, where the village chief will greet us. A small welcoming ceremony will take place, during which we will present a traditional offering (wae lu’u) as a sign of respect and to seek blessings from the ancestors.

After the ceremony, we will be escorted to our designated house for an overnight stay. Enjoy a warm cup of tea or coffee while taking in the breathtaking scenery. Dinner will be served in the evening, and if the weather permits, you can stargaze in this peaceful setting.

DAY 2: WAE REBO – DENGE VILLAGE – LEMBOR – CUNCA WULANG WATERFALL – LABUAN BAJO

Wake up early to witness the sunrise over Wae Rebo’s iconic conical houses. Take time to interact with the locals, learn about their daily life, and capture beautiful memories through photography.

After breakfast, enjoy your last moments in this magical village before packing up and saying farewell to the community. We will then trek back down to the starting point, where the ojek will be waiting to take us back to Denge Village. From there, we will continue our journey by car to Lembor Traditional Market (approximately 2 hours). Upon arrival, we will explore the market before heading to a local restaurant for lunch.

After lunch, we proceed to Cunca Wulang Waterfall, which takes approximately 1.5 hours to reach. Upon arrival at the parking area, a local guide will welcome us. After paying the entrance fee, we will take a short 20-minute walk to the waterfall, where you can swim, jump into the water, or simply relax. Enjoy a cup of hot coffee at a small warung by the riverbank.

We will then hike back to the car and return to Labuan Bajo. Upon arrival, you will check in to your hotel and have free time to relax.
